12) a. Phosphoric acid, H3PO4 (used in soft drinks and fertilizers)
            elements: 3 hydrogen, 1 phosphorus, and 4 oxygen
b. Sodium hydroxide, NaOH (found in some drain cleaners)
      elements: 1 sodium, 1 oxygen, and 1 hydrogen
c. Sulfur dioxide, SO2 (a by-product of coal combustion)
      elements: 1 sulfur and 2 oxygen

13) a. Shiny in appearance metal
